Luke 23:46Remember that Christ’s Spirit is God’s Spirit because we read it in John 3:16 that God gave to us His only-begotten Son out of love to save us. He became flesh to save us from the fire of hell. This how God defined love.
He loves us so much. In His last breath, He commended His Spirit into the hands of His Father because He knows He is coming back to the divine throne. Jesus knew that the preaching of the cross would be the power of faith, that millions would worship Him, accept Him as the true and living God, as the Lord and Savior.
Finally, blessed is the one whose Spirit commends itself into the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one come to my father in heaven except through me. John 14:6 – Amen
